Some new content while I struggle to make the CCS code in the new site bend to my bidding. For now I am back to updating this site with new content of which there is plenty. You can now visit the page which gives my account as a fly on the wall in April of this year at the Diageo Global planning team leaders meeting in Dublin.
I have articles in Market Leader 1st quarter 2008on Web 2.0 and in the April 2008 special edition Admap about 40th anniversary of planning which will be on the Planning Above and Beyond home page for the next month for you to download - after that you will have to go to the WARC site to get hold of them.
Up and coming will be a review of John Grant's Green Advertising Manifesto - in the meantime - I'll get back to website design! I should also point out that I am also the distributor for John Grant's Brand Tarot card set. And you can order the Brand Tarot cards online on my work website at Planningaboveandbeyond.com.
Re
finding your way around this site
- Start
with planning central which is the spine of the site.
- Planning
craft is the yellow line
- The bookshop is the green line
- You'll
find the sky blue line more suitable to those in the ad business because
it is about brand promise,
- The dark blue line is for those more involved in behavioural change that's retail, design and the web
- The brown line is more oriented towards audiences :media, direct
marketing and CRM
- The
silver line is the branding zone
- The black lines are where the directory is of agencies and also
people
- The maroon line is where the weblinks are.
- And I'm adding a line soon for clientside concerns.
- Have a play - if you get stuck just go to planning central look
for the search page which allows you to search the site for whatever.
And
if you start to use the right hand side of your brain eventually these will
start to click and link together in ways which only London based
planners will truly understand.
